Greenyard Frozen was awarded 7 Superior Taste Awards, a prize that is awared annually by the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) to food products with a good to an exceptional taste.
Greenyard Frozen Flanders has received the green light from the European Social Fund for the development of our new “Generation Z2” project. This project runs from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018 inclusive. Its aim is to provide our employees with the necessary training to support them as effectively as possible in the transition to a premium player.
Greenyard is a project partner in the MicroNOD project, in which nutrients that are present in fruits and vegetables residues, are recycled and microbially converted into a high-qualitative organic fertilizer.
During the Gulfood Innovation Awards the ready-to-use mousseline sauce from Greenyard Frozen was awarded a prize.
Since 2015, Greenyard constitutes of Pinguin, UNIVEG, Peltracom and Noliko. The fusion resulted in Greenyard becoming global market leader in fresh and prepared fruit and vegetables and growing media. Greenyard is active in four fields: Fresh, Frozen, Prepared and Horticulture, with Pinguin being the brand of Greenyard’s Frozen division. Today we are very proud to announce our new company name: Greenyard Frozen.
